Key Qualifications:
Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist IVP fingerprint card required prior to start date Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills Experience working with diverse student populations across various age groups Ability to collaborate with staff, families, and administrators Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic evaluations for students, maintaining compliance with state and district guidelines Consult with educators, parents, and related service providers to develop effective strategies and interventions Support special education processes, including eligibility meetings, creating and reviewing IEPs, and progress monitoring Deliver individual and group counseling, as needed, to support students' social-emotional development Promote a positive, inclusive school climate through prevention and crisis intervention efforts Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with regulations and best practices Adapt to a dynamic caseload, gathering details and updating plans as needed throughout the year
