Key Qualifications:

Valid School Psychologist certification for the state of Arizona Previous experience serving students from preschool through 8th grade Strong background in assessment, intervention, and counseling strategies within school environments Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and maintain accurate records

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide psychological assessments and interpret data to inform educational planning for diverse student needs Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams Deliver counseling and support services to students dealing with academic, social, and emotional challenges Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure consistent support and strategies for student success Offer crisis intervention and behavior management consultations as needed Stay current with state and federal regulations impacting special education and related services This assignment starts as soon as possible and continues through the end of the academic year, offering a consistent schedule of 40 hours per week.
