Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students and educational teams near Tempe, AZ. This full-time school psychologist position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact throughout the academic year, running from July 1st, 2025, through May 22nd, 2026. With an eight-hour workday and a consistent 40-hour workweek, you'll work onsite exclusively—no virtual or hybrid arrangements—allowing you to engage directly with staff and students.

Qualifications & Skills Sought:

Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Active state certification or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist Experience with psychoeducational testing, behavioral assessment, and intervention planning Knowledge of special education laws and best practices in school psychological services Collaborative approach with strong communication skills for working in multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct formal assessments and psychoeducational evaluations for a caseload of approximately 65 students Participate in eligibility, IEP, and problem-solving meetings with educators, families, and support staff Interpret results from cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional testing to inform interventions Provide consultative support to classroom teachers and administrators, contributing to student success Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to policies and timelines You'll enjoy the stability of set hours and a supportive environment that values the unique role school psychologists play in education.
