About the Opportunity We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services in a correctional and detention center setting. This position provides an opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary mental health team supporting individuals with a range of psychological and behavioral health needs. The Psychologist will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, provide counseling and crisis interventions, and collaborate with medical, mental health, nursing, security, and other facility staff to support quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Conduct psychological screenings and assessments through record reviews and clinical interviews. Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on clinical needs and level of functioning. Provide psychological counseling and appropriate mental health interventions. Conduct regular rounds in segregation and other confined housing areas to assess mental health and treatment needs. Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support. Monitor and evaluate changes in mental health conditions and behavioral concerns. Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, social workers, mental health providers, educational staff, chaplains, security personnel, and other professionals. Ensure treatment activities are well coordinated and patient care follow-through is maintained. Apply appropriate psychological counseling theories, techniques, and treatment approaches. Participate as a member of a multidisciplinary mental health team. Required Qualifications Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited college or university. Current, unrestricted license to practice Psychology in the State of California. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience , including at least 1 year in a comparable position. Must be at least 21 years of age. Valid driver's license. Ability to work in an on-site correctional/detention environment. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working in a correctional facility, detention center, or similar environment. Experience providing psychological services to diverse populations. Experience with crisis intervention, behavioral health assessments, and treatment planning. Work Environment This is an on-site position at a correctional/detention facility housing both male and female populations. The successful candidate must be comfortable providing psychological services in this environment. Pay:

$150,000.00 - $195,000.00 per year
