Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students well-being and educational success as a School Psychologist. Enjoy a part-time, 16-hour-per-week schedule and collaborate with educators and families to make a lasting difference in young lives. Your expertise will be essential in delivering comprehensive psychological assessments. Youll manage the process from start to finishselecting appropriate rating scales, collecting feedback from teachers and parents, conducting direct student evaluations, and creating detailed, clear reports. Share your recommendations with educational teams to guide student support plans and, when required, present assessment outcomes in IEP meetings. In cases where the internal team handles reporting, your focus will remain on high-quality assessment and collaboration.
Requirements & Skills:
Valid School Psychologist license in California Background in administering, scoring, and reporting standardized assessments Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families Up-to-date knowledge of best practices in special education and assessment processes Experience presenting in team meetings such as IEPs is highly desirable
Key Responsibilities:
Complete psychological assessments independently, including all documentation Communicate recommendations that support student growth and achievement Participate in IEP meetings as needed, reporting assessment results and offering guidance Serve as a reliable on-site presence for the school community Perks for
