You'll work collaboratively with a supportive educational community to ensure each student receives the individualized attention they deserve while covering an established leave during this period. In this key role, you'll serve a high school caseload—specific details regarding caseload size and structure will be discussed during your interview, enabling you to determine the best fit for your experience and preferences. Your involvement will contribute to helping students achieve personal, social, and academic success as you support them through pivotal moments during the school year.

Qualifications and Experience:

Valid School Psychologist credential (California PPS Credential preferred) Previous experience working with high school age students, ideally in public school settings Strong understanding of IEPs, assessments, and counseling techniques for adolescents Knowledge of crisis intervention, behavioral strategies, and special education processes Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological assessments and develop data-informed recommendations Provide counseling and consultative services to students, parents, and staff Collaborate in the development and implementation of IEPs Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, evaluations, and student support plans Ensure documentation and compliance standards are consistently met
