Job Description

Step into a fulfilling opportunity to support students growth and success as a School Psychologist in the heart of Southern California. This full-time, full school year contract role offers an engaging environment near the Palm Desert area, where collaboration with educators and families is at the core of making a positive difference in young lives. Ideal candidates bring a commitment to student well-being and a current California School Psychologist credential. Preferred applicants already reside locally and are passionate about building long-term relationships within the community. This position is not suited for short-term travelers, as the district values permanent or locally rooted professionals. Key Qualifications:
Active, valid California School Psychologist credential Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and counseling with children and adolescents Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families Commitment to confidentiality, ethical practice, and advocacy for student needs
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological and educational assessments to identify students strengths and needs Provide consultation to educators and families regarding academic, behavioral, and social/emotional interventions Develop and monitor individualized education and support plans Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams Deliver crisis intervention and collaborate on data-driven decisions to support student progress Take this chance to help advance educational access and student well-being in a vibrant region.
