Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Exciting new opportunity available for a dedicated School Psychologist interested in making a positive impact within an educational setting near San Diego, CA. This full-time, contract position is ideal for professionals with a passion for supporting students' academic, social, and emotional growth.
Key Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist credential (California PPS required) Graduate degree in School Psychology or related field Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments Strong knowledge of IEP process and special education law Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough evaluations for special education eligibility Implement evidence-based interventions and counseling for students Provide consultative services to teachers, staff, and families Participate in IEP meetings, supporting the development of student plans Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed Work with administrators and other school professionals to develop a safe, supportive learning environment
