$25.00 - $55.00 / hour (dependent on specific site and funding structure) About the Role The Community Counseling Center (CCC) is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and culturally attuned Associate Clinician to join our expanding youth and community mental health team. This part-time position (12-18 hours per week) offers a balanced hybrid schedule: you will spend two days per week embedded directly on an elementary school campus within San Luis Obispo County, and one day per week providing outpatient care at our main clinic in San Luis Obispo. In this role, you will deliver vital mental health services targeted toward Medi-Cal (CenCal) beneficiaries and specialized grant-funded school programs. While we serve communities across the county, our ideal candidate brings a genuine passion for youth mental health, strong clinical instincts, and the collaborative spirit needed to support children and families navigating vital developmental milestones. Key Responsibilities Provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed individual therapy and supportive interventions to elementary-aged youth and their families. Deliver school-based mental health services (2 days/week) in close partnership with school staff, educators, and administrators. Provide outpatient clinical services (1/day week) at our San Luis Obispo clinic, focusing on CenCal-insured clients and grant-supported scopes of work. Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and adhere strictly to agency protocols, compliance standards, and ethical guidelines. Participate actively in weekly individual and group clinical supervision to support professional growth, clinical reflection, and licensure hours. Exercise sound clinical judgment, independent problem-solving, and creative therapeutic engagement within diverse school and community environments. Qualifications & Requirements Licensure Status:

Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW), or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) in the State of California, in good standing with the BBS.

Experience:

Demonstrated professional or internship experience working with children, adolescents, and families ( youth experience preferred ).

Skills & Competencies:

Exceptional ability to work independently, make sound ethical decisions, exercise creative therapeutic approaches, and follow structured agency and school protocols.

Languages:

Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency is a strong plus and highly valued across our service continuum.

Clearances:

Ability to successfully complete required background checks, including TB testing and fingerprinting/Live Scan as required by partnering school districts.

Compensation & Benefits Clinic Placements:

$50.00 - $55.00 per hour

On-Campus Placements:
