Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Take on a unique opportunity to support students as a School Psychologist on a PRN, as-needed contract. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact within a small, close-knit charter school community serving just 15 to 16 students in grades K-8. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the academic and emotional development of each learner.

Preferred Qualifications & Background:

Current and valid School Psychologist credential or license in California Previous experience conducting school-based psychological assessments and evaluations Strong understanding of K-8 academic and behavioral needs Skilled in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including SLPs and OTs Effective communicator, able to connect with both students and staff Experience in writing thorough, compliant reports for IEP and assessment meetings

Key Responsibilities:

Complete psychoeducational assessments and evaluations as required Participate in IEP meetings, providing valuable input and recommendations Partner with the school's SLP and OT for a unified approach to student support Prepare high-quality reports and documentation in line with school and state standards Offer consultative guidance to teachers and families regarding student needs Maintain confidentiality and professional ethics in every aspect of your work In this rare, PRN role, you'll enjoy the autonomy and flexibility that comes with supporting a small campus environment.
