Key Qualifications:

Valid California PPS Credential in School Psychology (or eligibility for certification) Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Experience working in a school setting with students of diverse backgrounds Strong assessment, counseling, and report-writing skills Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Flexibility and adaptability to varying caseloads and school environments

Responsibilities:

Provide direct counseling services to students, supporting social-emotional growth Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments Develop and interpret individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school teams Offer crisis intervention, behavioral consultation, and preventative strategies Participate in student support meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary problem-solving processes Maintain accurate and timely records consistent with federal and state guidelines Consult with teachers, staff, and families to provide expert recommendations and supports
