This assignment takes place at Meridian Academy, serving students in grades 6-12 who require intensive behavioral and social-emotional interventions. Key Qualifications:

Valid Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider (SSP) License with an endorsement as a School Psychologist or School Social Worker. Experience supporting students with significant behavioral needs, particularly in middle and high school settings such as facility placements or day treatment programs. Deep understanding of Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes, including evaluations, meetings, and plan development. Strong collaboration skills with a multidisciplinary team. Ability to complete compliance requirements, including district background check and fingerprints.

Responsibilities:

Deliver mental health services as outlined in students' IEPs. Collaborate daily with program staff to address students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Conduct IEP evaluations, participate in meetings, and contribute actively to IEP development. Provide support to a caseload of approximately 23-30 students in grades 6-12. Maintain accurate records and comply with all district and state regulations. This is a full-time, 37.5-hour-per-week, on-site contract role beginning as soon as possible through May 27, 2027.
