Key Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist certification in Colorado (or eligibility to obtain prior to start) Master's or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and IEP process Experience with psychoeducational evaluations, behavioral assessments, and crisis intervention preferred Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, staff, and parents Ability to organize and prioritize multiple responsibilities in a busy school environment Commitment to supporting positive student outcomes
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive student evaluations using standardized assessment tools Interpret test results and develop data-driven recommendations for individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families on intervention strategies and behavioral supports Provide direct counseling and support services to students, individually and in small groups Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to eligibility and intervention planning Offer crisis intervention and response as needed Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in accordance with school and state requirements What's in it for you?
