Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of K-12 students by providing expert psychological services in a vibrant school setting. This full-time contract opportunity focuses on supporting students throughout the 2024-2025 academic year. As a valued resource, you'll play a crucial part in student success and well-being while collaborating with a dedicated educational team.
Key qualifications and preferred experience:
Master's or higher degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Appropriate state certification or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist Demonstrated experience working with K-12 student populations Strong skills in conducting assessments, test administration, and report writing Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Primary responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for K-12 students Prepare thorough and timely evaluation reports in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines Collaborate with educators, counselors, families, and administrators to develop appropriate interventions and supports Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as needed Provide crisis intervention and consultation services Maintain accurate records while ensuring confidentiality Utilize a district-provided laptop to facilitate efficient documentation and communication Benefits and advantages: District-issued laptop for streamlined workflow and secure documentation Opportunity to serve diverse student needs in a supportive educational environment Build meaningful partnerships with staff and families throughout the school year Step into a rewarding role where your expertise in school psychology can have a profound impact.
