Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into an exciting contract opportunity dedicated to supporting the educational journey of elementary students as a School Psychologist. Located near the stunning mountains, you'll partner with a passionate educational community and work closely with students, families, and staff to create nurturing learning environments. This assignment runs from July 27, 2026, through May 21, 2027, offering a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week throughout the school year. Ideal candidates possess the skills and compassion needed to collaborate with educators, assess student needs, and ensure that each child's unique learning profile is understood—without providing direct services. You'll help support approximately 40 SPED students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) at each school, making a meaningful impact through consultation, data analysis, and educational planning.
Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure (CO or eligible for reciprocity) Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or closely related field Strong understanding of the IEP process and experience working with elementary-aged students Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Previous school-based experience a plus Familiarity with special education protocols and compliance preferred
