Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make an impact by bringing your expertise to two welcoming elementary schools near Parker, CO! This part-time contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated School Psychologist with a talent for special education assessment. Providing essential support at both Parker Elementary and Franktown Elementary, you'll work closely with teachers, students, and families to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. In this role, you'll split your week between two sites, with one day (8 hours) per week dedicated to each school. Your knowledge and insight will make a real difference in helping young learners succeed. What we're looking for: Current School Psychologist certification or eligibility to obtain it Prior experience in educational or school settings A strong background in special education assessments and reporting Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and administrators Compassion, patience, and a commitment to promoting student well-being Ability to manage caseload efficiently across multiple sites What you'll do: Conduct comprehensive special education assessments Develop and interpret evaluation reports and recommendations Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Consult with educators and parents to implement effective support strategies Contribute to the creation of a positive, inclusive school culture Maintain accurate records and uphold district and state guidelines If you are seeking a part-time schedule that allows for meaningful work in the school community, this position provides the flexibility and professional fulfillment you desire.
