School Psych - Pueblo, Colorado Pueblo, CO Job Details Full-time | Contract $34.46 - $64.46 an hour 3 days ago Qualifications School experience Practicing as a mental health professional Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time School Psychologist position is available to support two school sites in Pueblo, CO. This role operates on a 4-day workweek schedule, Monday through Thursday, with optional professional development days on Fridays. The position follows the school calendar year and is contract-based.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide psychological services to support students' academic, social, and emotional needs across two schools. Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and develop effective intervention strategies. Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote a positive school environment and student success. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Support crisis intervention and preventative mental health initiatives.
Qualifications:
Experience as a School Psychologist working with diverse student populations. Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Strong skills in assessment, data analysis, and evidence-based interventions. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to manage a variable caseload effectively.
Location:
Based in Pueblo, Colorado, serving two distinct school sites within the area.
