Step into a rewarding contract opportunity in a setting dedicated to empowering students in grades 6-12 who require intensive behavioral and social-emotional support. Youll partner with a collaborative team at a specialized academy designed for learners whose unique needs havent been met in traditional school settings. This position is on-site, providing essential mental health and behavioral services, with a caseload currently at 23 students and growing to up to 30.

Key Qualifications:

Hold a valid Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider (SSP) License with endorsement as either a School Psychologist or School Social Worker. Demonstrated experience supporting students with severe behavioral and emotional needs, preferably in middle or high school, day treatment, or facility settings. Deep understanding of IEP processes, including assessments, meetings, and report development. Ready and qualified to meet district requirements for background checks and fingerprinting. Available for a full-time contract (37.5 hours/week) through late May.

What Youll Do:

Deliver direct mental health interventions and support aligned with students IEP requirements. Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and program staff to address social-emotional and behavioral goals.

Complete comprehensive IEP duties:

conducting evaluations, participating in meetings, and developing student plans. Provide ongoing consultation and guidance to staff working within this specialized educational program.
