Key Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of school-based experience in psychology Masters, Specialist, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology Current CDE Special Service Provider License endorsement in School Psychology Proficiency in student assessment, crisis intervention, and behavioral planning Exceptional oral and written communication skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Skilled in collaborating with families, educators, and outside agencies Advanced computer technology skills Comfortable working with students and staff from diverse backgrounds

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver direct counseling to special education students, individually and in groups, based on IEP goals Develop intervention strategies for academic, behavioral, and emotional support Conduct and document mental health services within general education settings Perform cognitive, emotional, and behavioral evaluations and write comprehensive reports Support crisis management by conducting risk assessments and developing safety plans Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in IEP and MTSS meetings, and consult with families and outside providers Present psychoeducation and professional development for staff, students, and families Complete background checks and fingerprinting for district compliance This position offers a dynamic, supportive professional environment and the ability to work closely with passionate colleagues who share your dedication to student well-being.
