Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Embrace an exciting contract opportunity for the 2024-2025 school year as a School Psychologist supporting K-12 students. This full-time role is located in a vibrant community near Woodland Park, CO, where you'll collaborate with dedicated educators and make a meaningful impact on students' educational journeys. Your expertise in testing and report writing will be central as you evaluate students' needs, provide psychological services, and contribute to comprehensive educational planning. A district-issued laptop will streamline your work, ensuring access to the latest resources and technology.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility to obtain certification in Colorado Prior experience in a K-12 school setting preferred Strong skills in psychological and psychoeducational assessment, intervention, and report creation Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments for students referred for educational, developmental, or behavioral concerns Analyze assessment data and create thorough, actionable reports Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary teams Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and families regarding student needs Develop and implement intervention strategies, supporting student growth and emotional well-being Benefit from a dynamic, supportive environment committed to professional growth and student success.
