Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into an impactful contract position shaping student success for the 2026-27 school year as a School Psychologist in the Bridgeport, CT area. This full-time, in-person opportunity (32.5 hours per week) offers experienced and aspiring school psychologists a chance to support diverse learners and collaborate closely with educational professionals. Your expertise will be central to administering psychological assessments and regularly conducting evaluations, ensuring that students receive the tailored support they need. Qualifications & Experience:
Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology Experience working with K-12 students in school settings preferred Willingness and ability to perform regular student evaluations Current Connecticut School Psychologist certification, or eligibility with certification pending (candidates awaiting full certification are welcome to apply) Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset Ability to work on site and partner effectively with students, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
Administer psychological and educational assessments and evaluations Provide counseling, consultation, and evidence-based interventions Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings Develop recommendations to support educational planning and student well-being Maintain consistent documentation and follow applicable procedures and ethics standards This role offers an opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated educational team and create a positive, supportive learning environment for all students.
