Licensed Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) Full-Time - Berlin, CT Hot Job Berlin, CT 06023 Apply Licensed Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) Full-Time - Berlin, CT Hot Job Overview Description Impact Health is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) in Berlin, CT. Impact Health is a Nurse Practitioner group serving skilled nursing facilities across the state with both medical and psychiatric care. Impact Mental Health has a full-time opening for a Licensed Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) in Connecticut to provide psychiatric consultation evaluations supported by our team of APRNs, therapists, and MDs. While providing a strong team atmosphere, Impact allows its providers to practice with autonomy and independence. We provide a full-benefit package with a competitive salary and room to grow. Providers are allowed to create a schedule that works best for them and their assigned buildings within typical business hours, 8am - 5pm.
Responsibilities:
Provide person-centered care using best practices Manage caseload, fulfill psychiatric needs of skilled nursing facility Work to coordinate care between Impact's and the facility's team Collaboration with medical staff Submit documentation within 24 hours of encounter Adhere to state regulations within SNF setting Provide assessment, diagnostic, and psychotherapy services Meet with residents 1-1 for therapy sessions
Experience:
Experience in skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, residential care, geriatric care, and psychiatric outpatient preferred

Qualifications Qualifications:
Active Psychologist license (PhD or PsyD) in the state of employment 2+ years clinical experience managing mental health care for adults Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities or Geriatric mental health Strong communication, assessment, diagnostic, and psychotherapy skills
