This opportunity is ideal for professionals who excel at assessment, collaboration, and fostering student well-being within a dynamic school environment. You'll work closely with educators and families to help students thrive both academically and emotionally.
What You'll Bring:
Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist Experience with psychological assessments, IEP development, and crisis intervention in a school setting Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, teachers, and families Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes Commitment to culturally responsive and ethical practice
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct individual and group evaluations to identify students' strengths and areas of need Participate in IEP meetings, providing insight into appropriate interventions and accommodations Offer counseling and consultation services to support students' social, emotional, and behavioral health Work collaboratively with school staff to design and implement strategies that promote a supportive learning environment Serve as a valuable resource for staff development and parent education Contribute to problem-solving teams and support crisis response efforts as necessary
