Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Help make a lasting, positive impact in the lives of high school students by providing dedicated counseling support in a welcoming educational environment. This contract opportunity allows you to focus entirely on student counseling, helping adolescents navigate life's challenges and develop essential coping skills.

Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid certification as a School Psychologist Previous experience working with high school students preferred Strong background in counseling, crisis intervention, and social-emotional learning Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with students Ability to collaborate with faculty and school staff to ensure comprehensive student support Compassionate, patient, and adaptable mindset

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver individual and group counseling to high school students, addressing a range of social, emotional, and behavioral needs Consult with teachers, families, and administrators to identify students requiring additional support Create and implement intervention plans tailored to individual student needs Help students set personal goals and explore strategies for academic and personal success Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and professional standards Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as needed
