Two full-time School Psychologist contract openings are available, each offering the opportunity to engage deeply with the school community and enhance the learning experience for students. Both roles require onsite presence and commitment to a 35-hour work week.
Position Details:
The first opening runs from ASAP through May 2027, with the potential to extend through the remainder of the academic year, working with a vibrant high school population. The second opportunity, newly created, extends from ASAP until March 30, 2027, in a middle school setting, offering the chance to help shape psychological services in a brand-new capacity.
Qualifications:
Active Connecticut licensure and certification required. School-based experience is essential. Skilled in evaluation administration and proficient in PPT (Planning and Placement Team) reporting. Adept at collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals. Ready to actively participate onsite in dynamic educational settings. Able to provide documentation and references supporting your experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify student needs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create, implement, and monitor individualized interventions. Prepare detailed PPT reports and participate actively in team meetings. Offer consultation and guidance to staff and families regarding student development and behavior. Support the emotional and academic well-being of students through evidence-based practices. Interviews will be conducted via Zoom, offering a streamlined and efficient process.
