POSITION OVERVIEW
Provide school-based psychotherapy and case management to children and families experiencing behavioral health issues. DUTIES andRESPONSIBILITIES
Provide clinical assessment, diagnosis and traditional treatment and evidence based treatment to children/adolescents and their families. Provide individual, parenting, family and group modalities of treatment as needed. Provide case management services as needed. Maintain client documentation in electronic health records as required. Facilitate evidence based treatment groups in school setting Facilitate parent support groups Establish and maintain working relationships with school personnel Perform any other department or agency-related duties or special projects as directed by supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS andCOMPETENCIES
Masters degree in behavioral health field required. Associate license required, Full license preferred. Ability to work flexible schedule, with early mornings and some evenings required Knowledge of child development and psychiatric disorders. Experience with evidence based practices (TFCBT, MATCH, ARC, DBT -adolescent) preferred Experience working in a school setting preferred Good communication and documentation skills. Computer literacy. Experience in counseling/therapeutic methods/practices with children and families. Sensitivity to diverse cultures and language competencies. Ability to prioritize and organize schedules/demands. CBITS training prior to hire preferred; CBITS training required upon hire Access to reliable transportation on a consistent basis.
