This contract opportunity offers a chance to work closely with students, teachers, and families to deliver essential evaluation and counseling services. The position runs ASAP through June 10, 2027, providing stability and the chance to become a trusted resource on campus.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, totaling 28 evaluations throughout the academic year. Provide individual and small group counseling to approximately 10 students, holding sessions weekly or bi-weekly based on their needs. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and monitor student intervention plans. Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and legal guidelines. Participate in IEP meetings and provide insights to support student growth and success. Engage in professional development initiatives and stay current with best practices in school psychology.
Qualifications:
Current School Psychologist credential or eligibility in the state. Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or related field. Previous experience working in a school setting, preferably at the high school level. Strong assessment, counseling, and case management skills. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
