Key Qualifications:

Valid certification as a School Psychologist Experience conducting student evaluations and assessments in school settings Strong understanding of child and adolescent development Ability to work independently and manage a split schedule across multiple buildings Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to ethical practice and promoting inclusive educational experiences

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Conduct a variety of psychoeducational evaluations, focusing on both individual students and systemwide needs Consult with teachers and school administrators to interpret assessment results and recommend interventions Develop and support the implementation of IEPs and behavioral plans Engage students and families in collaborative meetings to identify strengths and address areas for growth Provide crisis intervention and support as needed within the middle and high school environments Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of all assessments and services provided Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive school climate
