Job Description
Make a significant impact in students' lives as a school psychologist working in a supportive educational setting near Norwalk, CT. This contract opportunity starts immediately and extends through June 7, 2027, providing you with the flexibility of working just one day per week to start. Qualifications and Background:
Valid Connecticut School Psychologist (PSYCH CT) credential is required Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and evaluations Familiarity with a range of psychological services for students, including counseling and intervention planning Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to adapt to working across multiple school environments and age groupsKey Responsibilities:
Assist schools with a variety of testing and evaluation requirements Deliver targeted psychological services as needs arise, supporting students' emotional and academic growth Provide consultation to staff and parents on best practices for fostering student success Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all assessments and services rendered Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) as appropriate This role offers a unique opportunity to work across different educational environments, build diverse professional connections, and make meaningful contributions to student wellbeing—all while enjoying the flexibility of a one-day-per-week schedule.
