Job Description

Make a meaningful impact as a School Psychologist in a dynamic school environment just outside of Waterbury, CT! Two immediate, full-time contract opportunities are availableone at the high school level and an exciting new opening at a middle school. Both positions are onsite and offer the chance to join supportive educational teams focused on student success. As a School Psychologist, your expertise will support students and staff through comprehensive evaluations, contributing to collaborative planning and intervention. You'll play a key role in fostering positive learning outcomes and a healthy school climate. What we're looking for: Active Connecticut licensure and certification specific to school psychology Demonstrated school-based experience as a School Psychologist Proficiency in evaluation administration and PPT (Planning and Placement Team) reporting Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Strong communication and organizational skills Enthusiasm for working in an onsite school environment Key responsibilities: Conduct thorough psychological assessments for students referred by teachers, counselors, or families Complete timely, accurate PPT reporting in compliance with district and state guidelines Participate in student support meetings, offering insights for interventions and academic planning Consult with school staff to support students educational and emotional development Foster family engagement by explaining assessment results and recommendations Perks of joining: Secure a MondayFriday, 35-hour workweekmaking work-life balance possible Collaborate with driven, student-centered colleagues Enjoy a consistent, long-term contract through the 20262027 school year with potential extensions Start dates are as soon as possible.
