This contract position begins as soon as possible and continues through June 10, 2027. In this setting, youll collaborate with educational staff to promote student well-being, growth, and academic success. You will perform essential evaluations and deliver counseling services, playing a key part in helping students reach their full potential.

Key Qualifications:

Certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist in Connecticut Experience with high school populations preferred Strong background in conducting psychoeducational evaluations Ability to provide effective individual and group counseling Exceptional communication, organizational, and reporting skills Capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

Complete 28 psychoeducational evaluations annually to identify and assess student needs Manage counseling caseloads for 10 high school students, providing weekly or bi-weekly sessions Consult regularly with educators, families, and school staff to develop intervention strategies Maintain all required records and reports in a timely, confidential manner Participate in eligibility, IEP, and progress review meetings Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment by addressing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges Support high school students in academic, career, and social-emotional development This contract opportunity offers you the ability to work in a supportive and purpose-driven educational community.
