Job Description
The Sport Psychology Intern will work with youth athletes from an array of sports, primarily soccer. The role provides a captive audience of youth soccer players and families. The selected candidates will work to develop and deliver group presentations to teams and groups within the club including but not limited to cohesion, coach education, player development and introduction to sport psychology. The selected candidates will also deliver sport psychology and mental skills interventions to assist player development as well as create plans of best practice for all aspiring athletes. The selected candidates will work directly under Marty Walker who is the lead consultant for Train Your Mind and who has been working in the field of Sport Psychology for 15 years.
