Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding full-time contract opportunity as a School Psychologist working in a vibrant PreK environment. This onsite role near Bridgeville, DE, allows you to collaborate with educators, families, and support teams to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners.
Key Qualifications:
Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist Prior experience working with PreK or early childhood populations preferred Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills Effective communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to thrive in a collaborative, school-based environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for PreK students Interpret evaluation results and deliver clear, actionable recommendations Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide direct and indirect support to students facing academic, behavioral, and social-emotional challenges Consult with teachers, staff, and families to foster inclusive, supportive learning environments Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute insights for student success Support crisis intervention and prevention efforts as needed within the school setting This position invites dedicated professionals eager to promote positive outcomes and growth in early learners.
