Key Qualifications:

Active Delaware School Psychologist license (must present with application) Previous experience in a school-based setting; high school experience preferred Expertise in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and preparing comprehensive reports Confident participant in IEP meetings, with a proven record of effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Reliable transportation and availability for a consistent full-time schedule (5 days/week, 37.5 hours/week) onsite Willingness to complete required fingerprinting within the first few days of assignment (self-pay) Comfortable supporting and building rapport with high-school age students

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct psychoeducational assessments for students and communicate findings through clear, comprehensive evaluations Provide vital input and recommendations as an active participant during IEP team meetings Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and district staff to advocate for and meet students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs Maintain accurate records and thorough documentation while managing a caseload efficiently Serve as a key resource for school staff and families, contributing to educational plans and interventions This rewarding contract position extends from late August 2026 through mid-June 2027 and will exclusively serve high school students in a supportive academic setting.
