Key Qualifications:
Current Delaware School Psychologist licensure required Experience with early childhood or preschool-aged children preferred Familiarity working with a range of student backgrounds and needs, including low-income and Spanish-speaking children Strong communication and assessment skills Ability to thrive in a hybrid environment, adapting services as needed (both onsite and virtually)
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations, assessments, and interventions for preschool-aged students Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to develop effective learning and behavioral strategies Participate in IEP meetings, contributing insights and recommendations to multidisciplinary teams Provide consultative support to staff addressing social-emotional and behavioral concerns Maintain thorough documentation and communicate findings to all stakeholders Tailor support for a caseload that may occasionally include students from diverse backgrounds
