Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Empower students and support educational success as an on-site School Psychologist working on a contract basis. Multiple positions are available, providing an excellent opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated special services team and positively influence K-12 students' academic, social, and emotional well-being.

Key Qualifications:

Master's degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid state license or certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience in school settings preferred, though strong new graduates will be considered Knowledge of psychological and educational assessment tools and techniques Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborative communication style and commitment to equity for all students

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for students referred for evaluation Participate as a vital team member in IEP/504 meetings and contribute professional insights to support students' learning environments Design and assist with the implementation of interventions that address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs Provide crisis intervention and counseling services when necessary Work directly with teachers, administrators, and families to advocate for student support and success Maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory requirements and school policies
