Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Psychometrist to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will administer psychological assessments, conduct clinical interviews, and gather comprehensive data to support diagnosis and treatment planning. Your expertise will help inform effective interventions for individuals young across a broad spectrum of needs, including developmental disabilities, autism, and learning differences. Duties Administer standardized educational tests and assessments accurately and efficiently to evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning. Collect, organize, and analyze data related to patient performance and behavior during assessments Maintain detailed medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and accuracy Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to interpret assessment results and contribute to comprehensive treatment plans Assist in intake procedures by gathering relevant patient history, vital signs, and behavioral observations Support crisis intervention efforts by recognizing signs of distress or trauma such as PTSD or autism-related behaviors Skills Strong experience working with children, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized behavioral interventions Collaborative work with a licensed school psychologist. Ability to perform medical tasks such as taking vital signs and administering medication under supervision when necessary Familiarity with educational and psychological terminology, records management, and healthcare documentation standards including HIPAA compliance Excellent skills in data collection, analysis, and report writing for psychological assessments Compassionate approach to working with children and their families.
