Benefits are not currently offered About Light Point Psychology Light Point Psychology is a growing psychology and assessment practice providing comprehensive psychological, neuropsychological, autism, ADHD, and psychoeducational evaluations for children and adults. We are seeking an experienced psychometrist to administer comprehensive testing batteries, score and interpret assessment data, and draft complete psychological evaluation reports under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. This is a psychological assessment and report-writing position. It is not an ABA, counseling, therapy, or case-management role. Compensation This position is compensated per completed evaluation rather than through an hourly wage or salary . Compensation ranges from $125 to $350 per completed evaluation , depending on the scope and complexity of the assigned testing battery. A completed evaluation includes administration of all assigned measures, accurate scoring, preparation of score tables, and completion of the full draft report using the practice's established template. Evaluations are offered based on referral volume, practice needs, and the psychometrist's availability. Benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement benefits, are not currently offered. Employment Structure Opportunities may be available as either a PRN W-2 employee or an independent contractor based on the responsibilities, schedule, degree of independence, and overall structure of the working relationship. Scheduling and Evaluation Process This position offers substantial scheduling flexibility. Evaluations may be conducted on weekdays, during evening hours, or on weekends based on the psychometrist's availability. Responsibilities Review the referral question, intake information, and assigned testing battery Administer standardized cognitive, academic, executive-functioning, attention, personality, and autism measures Follow all standardized administration procedures Score all measures accurately Calculate and enter scores, percentiles, classifications, and relevant findings into established report tables Write clear and objective behavioral observations Draft a complete psychological evaluation report using the practice's templates The supervising psychologist will review all testing data and report drafts and retains responsibility for the final diagnostic conclusions, recommendations, approval, and signature. Assessment Experience Applicants should have hands-on experience with several of the following measures:

Woodcock-Johnson Tests of Achievement
ADOS-2 D-KEFS CPT-3 CATA PAI CAARS-2 SRS-2 RAADS-R
Other commonly used cognitive, academic, attention, autism, executive-functioning, or personality measures Previous ADOS-2 training and administration experience are strongly preferred . . Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in psychology or a closely related field; master's degree or advanced graduate training preferred Formal training in psychological, neuropsychological, or psychoeducational assessment Hands-on experience administering standardized assessments to actual clients Demonstrated ability to score standardized measures accurately Previous experience drafting psychological, neuropsychological, or psychoeducational reports Strong clinical writing, organization, and documentation skills Strong attention to detail Dependability and ability to meet report deadlines Professional communication skills Familiarity with HIPAA and client-confidentiality requirements Ability to conduct testing independently while remaining responsive to supervision and feedback Availability to conduct evaluations in person Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is confident administering comprehensive testing batteries, scores measures carefully, writes polished reports, responds well to feedback, and consistently meets deadlines. We are particularly interested in candidates who can independently administer the ADOS-2 and Woodcock-Johnson, complete broader ADHD and neuropsychological batteries, and produce a strong full report draft. This position may be especially appealing to an experienced psychometrist, advanced graduate student, postdoctoral fellow, or clinician seeking flexible evening or weekend assessment work.
