Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a School Psychologist, supporting K-12 learners in an engaging educational environment. This contract position offers a rewarding role, collaborating closely with students, teachers, and families to foster student growth and achievement. You will work within a dedicated team, utilizing your skills to provide comprehensive psychological services and play an essential part in students' educational journeys.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Georgia School Psychologist License required Previous experience as a School Psychologist or Special Education Teacher in a school setting is highly valued Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working effectively with multidisciplinary teams, students, and parents Strong understanding of academic, emotional, and behavioral assessment tools and intervention strategies Commitment to supporting diverse learners and advocating for inclusive educational practices
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver a full range of school psychological services to K-12 students, including assessments, counseling, and consultation Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Conduct social, emotional, and academic evaluations, documenting findings and recommendations Participate in response to intervention (RTI) efforts and behavioral support planning Support crisis intervention, classroom management, and student advocacy initiatives Maintain thorough records and comply with all district and state regulations
Position Details:
Contract term with immediate start through the end of May 2027 Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 3:00 pm One hour daily planning time and a 30-minute duty-free lunch Experience the fulfillment of making a difference while working alongside passionate education professionals.
