School Psychologist
Job Description
ESS Clinical is seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team in partnership with Cherokee County School District for the 2026-2027 school year . PAY $70/hr W2 Contract and $79/hr 1099 Contract Position Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for special education services. Interpret assessment data and prepare written evaluation reports. Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, manifestation determinations, and multidisciplinary team meetings. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, counselors, related service providers, and families to develop effective interventions. Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, emotional, and mental health concerns. Assist in developing behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and functional behavior assessments (FBAs). Support crisis prevention and intervention efforts when needed. Monitor student progress and provide recommendations for educational programming. Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and district regulations. Promote positive learning environments that support student achievement and well-being. Required Certifications & Licensure Applicants must possess or be eligible to obtain: Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) School Psychologist Certificate Master's, Specialist (Ed.
