Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an onsite school psychologist serving students in a supportive educational environment near Fortson, GA. This role is available immediately and extends through May 21st, 2027, offering either full-time (at least 37.5 hours per week) or potential part-time hours, based on district needs. Placement and caseload will be thoughtfully determined during your interview, aligning with your preferred age group and your professional experience to ensure the best fit for both you and the students you'll serve.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Georgia Educator Certificate in Psychology is required Experience in school settings as a psychologist is highly desirable Comfortable maintaining detailed daily service logs Flexible mindset and collaborative approach to working with educators and support staff Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to diverse student needs Commitment to onsite services—remote/VOCO candidates will not be considered
Key Responsibilities:
Provide psychological assessments, counseling, and intervention services onsite Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student well-being Develop and implement individualized plans to address students' academic, social, and emotional needs Maintain accurate, timely records of services as required by the district Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary support initiatives
