Job Description

Embrace an exciting contract opportunity to make a meaningful impact as a School Psychologist supporting K-12 students. Located near Cumming, GA, the contract runs through May 28, 2027, providing stability and the chance to build strong relationships with students and staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid Georgia School Psychologist license required Experience or background in school psychology or special education settings Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working with a diverse student population (grades K-12) Ability to collaborate on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and multidisciplinary teams Excellent assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention skills
Responsibilities Include:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments of students Interpret assessment results to develop actionable recommendations Support the special education process by collaborating on IEP meetings and documentation Provide counseling and intervention services as needed Consult with school staff, administrators, and families to promote a positive learning environment Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on students' needs Engage in ongoing professional development to support best practices Enjoy a regular work schedule of Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 3:00pm, including a dedicated hour for planning each day and a 30-minute duty-free lunch.
