With a manageable caseload and a supportive school environment, youll play a vital part in fostering positive student outcomes.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Current GA School Psychologist License required Demonstrated experience working with K-12 school populations Strong background with special education and psychoeducational assessment Excellent communication, consultation, and collaborative skills Organizational skills to manage caseloads, documentation, and timelines Ability to develop intervention plans and provide crisis response as needed Problem-solving mindset with a commitment to student advocacy
Core Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for K-12 students Support the development and implementation of IEPs and Section 504 plans Consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams on student needs Provide individual and group counseling as appropriate Assist in crisis intervention and prevention services Participate actively in eligibility, review, and planning meetings Maintain thorough, timely documentation and reports Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive school climate
