Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in education by supporting students' academic, behavioral, and emotional success as an onsite psychologist in a Georgia school setting. This contract opportunity offers the chance to collaborate directly with students and multidisciplinary teams, helping shape positive educational environments through individualized assessments and interventions. Assignments are full-time (at least 37.5 hours per week), though part-time schedules may be considered based on availability. Placement will align with your experience and preferred student age range, as determined during an interview. The assignment is ongoing through May 21st, 2027.
Qualifications:
Active Georgia Educator Certification in School Psychology is required Previous experience working as a school psychologist preferred Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and administrators Proficiency in conducting psycho-educational assessments and developing student intervention plans Commitment to maintaining thorough and timely documentation; daily logs for provided services are mandatory Adaptability and willingness to contribute to various student support initiatives Candidates must be available for onsite work; remote-only candidates are ineligible for this role
Responsibilities:
Administer psychological assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports Participate in eligibility, Individualized Education Program (IEP), and other student support meetings Develop and monitor evidence-based intervention plans Provide counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention as needed Maintain accurate and up-to-date service logs and documentation Foster a supportive, positive, and inclusive school climate Experience the fulfillment of guiding students to overcome challenges and reach their potential.
