Job Description

Make a meaningful difference by supporting students' academic and emotional growth as a school psychologist in a vibrant educational community near Gainesville, GA. This contract position provides a unique opportunity to collaborate with educators, families, and school leaders to positively influence the lives of K-12 learners. You will work across diverse settings and age groups, providing valuable insight and expertise to ensure every student has equitable access to high-quality education and necessary resources.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Georgia School Psychologist License required Experience with K-12 student populations preferred Familiarity with Special Education processes and individualized education planning (IEP) Strong assessment, data analysis, and report writing skills Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Compassionate, resourceful, and dedicated to student success
Responsibilities:
Conduct formal assessments, functional behavioral evaluations, and psychoeducational testing Develop and interpret evaluation reports for eligibility meetings and IEP team collaboration Support students' emotional, behavioral, and academic needs through evidence-based interventions Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to design and implement effective strategies Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, crisis interventions, and data-driven decision-making Promote a culturally inclusive and supportive school environment This full-time role follows a traditional school schedule: 7:30am-3:00pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
