Job Description
Northeast Georgia Psychological Services (NGPS) is a thriving private practice located in Hoschton, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta. We are currently accepting applications for a full-time psychometrist. NGPS is a growing practice that provides outpatient psychotherapy and assessments to adults, children, and families. Qualifying experience will include comprehensive training and experience in clinical interview, psychological assessment, and report writing. Psychometrists must hold a bachelor's degree and have completed graduate level courses in psychological assessment. Psychometrists must have previously administered psychological assessments on actual clients outside of classroom training. Psychometrists will be working with adults, children, and adolescents. Psychometrists will have the opportunity to work with diverse and underserved populations. Psychometrists will provide psychological test administration , clinical interviewing, and report writing. Psychometrists will participate in wide array of assessments, potentially including Social Security Disability evaluations, general diagnostic evaluations, fitness for duty, vocational rehabilitation evaluations, assessments for surgical/medical clearance, and psychoeducational evaluations. Psychometrists will be supervised by a licensed psychologist in the state of Georgia. Prospective applicants should have excellent report writing skills and be prepared for a rewarding experience.
