Job Description

Licensed Psychologist - Psychological Assessment North Metro Psychological Services is seeking a licensed psychologist to join our private practice team. This position is primarily focused on psychological assessment, with the option to provide therapy if desired. This role may be a good fit for a psychologist who enjoys thoughtful diagnostic work, comprehensive evaluations, and working with neurodivergent children, adolescents, and adults. We are especially interested in clinicians with experience or interest in autism assessment, ADHD assessment, psychoeducational evaluations, adult diagnostic clarification, and learning disability evaluations.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting clinical interviews Administering, scoring, and interpreting psychological assessment measures Completing autism, ADHD, psychoeducational, and/or diagnostic evaluations Writing clear, thoughtful, and timely evaluation reports Providing feedback sessions to clients and families Collaborating with other clinicians and staff as needed Providing therapy services, if desired and clinically appropriate Minimum Qualifications Licensed or license-eligible as a psychologist in Georgia Experience with psychological assessment Strong clinical judgment and ethical decision-making Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to complete documentation and reports in a timely manner Interest in working collaboratively as part of a private practice team Commitment to warm, respectful, client-centered care Strong executive functioning skills Preferred Experience Preference may be given to candidates with experience in: Autism assessment ADHD assessment Psychoeducational or learning disability evaluations Adult psychological assessment Child and adolescent assessment Neurodiversity-affirming assessment and therapy Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is clinically thoughtful, organized, reliable, and comfortable working independently while also being part of a supportive team.
