Job Description

Key Qualifications:
Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Active Georgia state license or certification as a School Psychologist Experience conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments Proficiency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong communication skills with an ability to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks Compassionate approach to helping students overcome academic, behavioral, or social-emotional barriers
Primary Responsibilities:
Complete evaluations and re-evaluations for students referred for special education services Interpret data and assessment results to guide eligibility decisions and intervention planning Consult with educators and parents, delivering recommendations to support student learning and mental health Participate actively in IEP meetings to develop goals and advocate for appropriate supports Provide crisis intervention and counseling services, as needed Support implementation of behavioral management plans and school-wide prevention programs This contract role offers a fantastic platform for professionals who thrive in a school-based environment and have a genuine passion for student advocacy.
