Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful part-time role serving elementary students and families as a School Psychologist in the greater Atlanta area! This contract opportunity, located near Woodstock, invites you to contribute your expertise two days per week—Wednesdays required, with flexibility for the second day. You'll support one elementary campus, working with students in grades K-5, from November through the end of the school year. Your passion for helping young learners thrive will shine as you address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs, collaborating closely with educators and parents. You'll make a direct impact on student success in a supportive environment, with all the benefits of a part-time schedule.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist Experience in a K-5 or elementary school setting preferred Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills Effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Flexibility and adaptability for changing student needs
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations Develop and support implementation of IEPs and Section 504 plans Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure student success Deliver consultative and direct intervention services Offer crisis intervention and counseling services as needed Maintain accurate student records and assessment documentation Participate in team meetings, RTI/MTSS processes, and school-based planning This position offers a unique chance to balance your commitment to students with personal time—perfect for those seeking professional fulfillment without a full-time schedule.
