POSITION SUMMARY
The Psychology Office Coordinator supports the effective day-to-day operations of the Psychological Services department by organizing, prioritizing, and coordinating front office and administrative functions. Serving as a key member of the Patient Care Team, this role provides a positive and professional experience for patients, families, providers, and community partners. The Coordinator manages referral, registration, scheduling, and financial workflows; maintains accurate patient records; and ensures operational, regulatory, and revenue cycle processes are completed accurately and efficiently. This role also provides administrative support to departmental leadership, assists with staff training and community outreach efforts, and collaborates across departments and external stakeholders to support access, quality, and service excellence. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School Diploma/ GED Experience:
Interpersonal skills necessary to greet and provide information to visitors, answer department telephones, and communicate effectively with other members of the Patient Care Team.
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
Experience with EPIC System. Previous experience in a medical office or hospital setting. OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
